We plan the mood, wardrobe and location together. Edited images arrive in an online gallery; your delivery date is confirmed at booking. Travel, studio rental, extra images and advanced retouching are quoted separately. Applicable taxes are additional.

All monthly plans include creative direction, consistent editing, a download gallery and use on your business website, social channels, email and paid ads. First delivery within five business days of each shoot.
Monthly plan details & extras
Month-to-month, paid in advance. Cancel with 14 days’ notice before renewal. One business location per shoot; travel within 20 driving miles of downtown Raleigh is included.
Give at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule. Shoots and deliverables do not roll over. Weather or photographer cancellations are rescheduled by agreement.
One consolidated round of minor edits per monthly delivery, requested within five business days. Advanced retouching, composites, new concepts and reshoots are quoted separately. Raw files, posting and ad management are excluded. You arrange location permission and participant consent.
Extra shoot hour: $150. Ten extra edited photos from the existing shoot: $100. Additional travel and applicable taxes are extra. A service agreement confirms booking details.

Hey, I'm Derrick.
Come as you are.
I’m the photographer behind DEM Photography in Raleigh, North Carolina. I got into photography because I always felt I could catch that perfect moment—I just hadn’t explored that side of myself yet. I started DEM to help people hold onto the moments they want to relive and show who they truly are.
A shoot with me is relaxed. I’m usually looking around for an interesting angle, cracking a joke, or telling you to act like I’m not even there. For portraits, I like to bring a speaker so we can have some music playing while we shoot. If being in front of a camera feels awkward, that’s okay. We’ll take our time and settle into it together.
Whether it’s a portrait, a night out, or a special event, I want you to look at your photos and feel empowered to be yourself—and feel like you’re right back in that moment we captured together.
